Angel Falls is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, located in the Canaima National Park in Venezuela. The waterfall has a total height of 979 meters (3,212 feet) and a continuous drop of 807 meters (2,648 feet). It is named after Jimmy Angel, a US aviator who was the first person to fly over the falls in 1933. Angel Falls is a popular tourist attraction and is known for its stunning natural beauty and remote location in the Venezuelan jungle. The falls are surrounded by lush vegetation and are only accessible by a challenging trek through the jungle or by a boat trip up the Carrao River. Visitors to Angel Falls can take guided tours to see the waterfall up close, swim in the pools at the base of the falls, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The best time to visit Angel Falls is during the rainy season from May to November when the falls are at their most spectacular.
