The tank is OK but there is no way to isolate the tank to replace it without draining a lot of pipe. The reducing copper pipe going off to the right is the water supply feed from the pressure reducing valve. The black part at the top of the tank is installed in the wrong place. It should be in the constant flow of the boiler water to help remove air from the system. Here it will do little to remove air.
