Vintage family photos were printed onto cotton and fused onto a background of fabrics that represented what different generations might have used in their clothing; the Graham tartan, dark gray for the Quakers, toile and calico for colonial Americans, homespun for those who migrated to the Missouri wilderness in 1819. Alphabet beads spell out names and charms represent family characteristics.
