Also a source of temptation in the past because when you see in the book a jewel which could be affordable, you phone to the shop and pay a visit!; Paris had several prestigious shops, no more now! On last visit I bought the central book (140US$!!!) really complete and professional; But identification of shells stays very difficult for found shells or shells bought without a complete identity.

I have a few of those books myself & have a collection of shells I wish were as organized as yours seem to be. A lot of mine of course have been bought over the years, but several I picked up on Sanibel Island, Florida Thanks for sharing your great collection!!
