Album Info:

Lori's, Lady Ephemera Piltdown-Dunsany, dress is as spectacular as all of Richard's clothing creations. The fabric is a poly changeable taffeta in chili pepper and black and consists of an underskirt with pleated trim, a draped and pleated overskirt with a black fringe and a boned, lined bodice. The dress components were made from patterns from Truly Victorian in California; a wonderful and very helpful company. The bodice will be trimmed with taffeta roses, passementerie and beading around the neckline and down the center front. Her undergarments consist of a chemise, drawers and a corset (Simplicity historical patterns) and a combination petticoat and bustle with a reuffled overlay, also by Truly Victorian. The chemise and drawers were made of a good cotton muslin and trimmed with beading threaded with pink satin ribbon; the petticoat/bustle was also made with the same muslin with hoop wire in the bustle. The corset consisted of two heavy layers of cotton canvas boned with spiral steel boning, covered with a cream and gold metal threaded brocade and bound with dark gold silk in bias strips. It was closed with a metal busk in the front and laced in the back with brass grommets.
