Another Poem Interpretation: "Have you ever spent a day at a beach and become so drowsy with heat of the sun that you were not even aware of the noise of the ocean? Stevens captures this feeling by comparing the mind to a moth that leaves the beach and wanders from flower to flower one sleepy afternoon."
