This design I bought as a Fine Arts Heritage Society kit, which came with white aida. I tried stitching on that for a while but hated the feel and gave up for a while. Then I had the (not so) bright idea to start over and stitch the design one over one on a light blue evenweave. I really tried, and put in lots of hours, but yikes! Too hard on the eyes! Again, the project was put aside. So now I've started for the third time on a white 28-ct. evenweave, over two. This is about the first 1,000 stitches of the top left corner. Wish me luck! As of 09/30/2006.
