Rose Hatten -- Jeanne's Tree Skirt
arachnesobsession (Premium member) > albums > 2009 Year's End Celebration of Sewi...
Album Info:
Rose made this jolly Christmas tree skirt for her eldest daughter, Jeanne. It measures seventy-five inches square. Most of it was made on her 1920 White Family Rotary treadle, but some was done on her 1916 Singer 66-1 treadle as well as some on a 1960's Baldwin Clipper HC made in Japan and based upon a Singer 15-91. The backing for the skirt is fleece; there is no batting.
