A Barn with Stained Glass Windows
summerjade > albums > ''A+'' Cedaridge~ A Photographer's ...
Album Info:
Old door into the Under Part of the Red Barn. I think its days of housing animals are now over. The original 200 year old barn burned and has been rebuilt, but not yet refinished inside. (It remains a barn but may have a future as a studio-?)

I like the the whole rock design, the door, the wall, and that wheel is just perfect there. I don't think the stained window fits though, my San Diego windows contractor told me that rock walls and stained windows don't really go together, it's not too aesthetic and I believe he's right.

I can't believe more folks with old barns on their property don't enhance them this way. Excellent idea, and a superb capture for this challenge. Best of luck! Fred

I just photographed a local barn that has been re-done- stone casing outside, stained glass windows, and inside is absolutely amazing (no photos there, but have been inside 2x) they make for unbelievable homes! Good Luck!

I like the fieldstone look. Very expensive to do this unless all these stones were on his property!
