Kelly was hostess to a TOBE that used blocks made with Domestic sewing machines manufactured before 1924. Kelly is our Treadle On Domestic Sewing Machine Co. maven. She chose the star theme in keeping with the Star That Leads The Way slogan in Domestic's advertising. Kelly's is the center block on the top row. It was sewn with her 1882 Domestic treadle. This starry quilt was assembled on Kelly's 1923 White Family Rotary treadle and quilted on her 1913 Davis Vertical Feed.
