The male Osprey coming home to the nest. Note his left wing, there is a gap between the 4th and 5th feathers. This part of his wing was broken many years ago in a battle with a bald eagle over the Mississippi River 5 years ago. It was feared he would not survive. He has managed to overcome his injury and is the top male Osprey in this area.
