The shadows and reflection conspire to make a scene of superb tranquility; you captured it so well Sam.

Yes, I love this bridge in every season and every view of it that you have shared! The vivid red bridge and its reflection stand out particularly well in winter. Hi, Sam, I am continuing comments on this inspiring album. I hope that you have been flourishing! Many thanks for your comments, firstly on my album on the village of Ballyhooly, in the interior countryside of Ireland. Ballyhooly is indeed very green. It's a gentle spot, unassuming yet, we found, deeply appealing. While not a major tourist venue, we would happily return there. Your perceptive comments on my album on Killary Harbour and Leenaun are also much appreciated! You are right that much of the western coastal part of Ireland lacks more than stunted trees (at least outside of gardens); I think that a combination of thin, rocky soils and strong winds limits them. An exception would be some sheltered portions of the southwestern coast, in West Cork and Kerry, but I haven't yet had time to prepare and post a set of pictures from that lusher area. I hope that the coming week will be a thoroughly delightful one for you! --Warm wishes, Rebecca
