I wanted a classic 1930s "ice-cream-cone" border for this quilt, so chose not to piece Jane Stickle's original triangles. Five parallel lines echo the print triangles, with a feathered center. White triangles end in scallops, and have a question-mark-shaped plume of feather quilting, echoed and filled with meandering.
