Scrapquilter Cheryl -- Three Crayon Color Challenge
arachnesobsession (Premium member) > albums > 2009 Year's End Celebration of Sewi...
Album Info:
Cheryl's guild issued a summer challenge to make a quilt from three randomly drawn Crayola Crayon colors. The trick was to use only those three colors in making the quilt. She used her 1898 Singer 27 treadle with Egyptian decals. Cheryl says she enjoyed piecing her blocks and had the opportunity to use her Tri-Recs acrylic templates which worked very well. She was able to use her favorite hot pink color with the hydrangea border. Her daughter reportedly thinks the dark green motifs resemble pea pods . . . Well, it looks like a winner from our perspective!
