Hi Mike!! many congratz on your potd in Members Choice Home and Garden Flowers!!! Woo HOOO!!! anhd what a spectacular photo of a spectacular rose!!! Did you grow it?? I grew roses up until several years ago ... had one similar to this ... Silver ... something?? But I just gave up ... the deer population here is voracious ... as well, I had a lot of trouble with cane borers ... they laughed at everything I tried to do to stop them, lol!!! This is amazing - the color is so complete in every way. I say it defines summer because of a certain 'koolness' it emanates. Remember when I was young - for some crazy reason I hada shirt that was pretty close to this color - a bit darker maybe - an I loved it....... got 2 trips round the globe on that one!

Before 20 years was at Baku, and there i get one dark blue rose for gift. I never no see rose with this color more.

My favourite..the blue rose is so beautiful with such an awesome aroma. I had a blue rose bush and it was so beautiful. Mike - I'm wondering if this one is called Blue Moon? One of my favourite roses is called Double Delight and it has the most exquisite perfume. I'm not sure if you have that one in the States?
