Album Info:

Spray painted a thrift store plate red and had my 10-year-old daughter design and paint it. She did an AWESOME job!!! I've always wanted redware but can't afford it--this is even better:)

    • Barb, this is so creative and I just LOVE it. Your daughter is definitely very talented. I LOVE redware, too, but have not been able to start collecting it, yet. I might have to TRY this....I am sure it will not look this good.

    • The spray paint is a cheap Wal-Mart brand flat reddish brown. The yellow paint is a fabric paint that comes in a squirt bottle, which made it easier for her to paint than using a brush. I can't, for the life of me, paint at all. That's why I enlisted her help. My girls are so talented. I've been wanting to try this for so long. I used the cheap Wal-Mart brand spray polyurethane.

    • Okay now you have officially done it - my jaw needed to be manually closed! This looks sooooo real!! Amazing! What brand paint did you use? Did you use a high gloss varnish too? It is incredible!
