  • for the quilt pictured I had cut my squares at 3.5" - which will give you a 6.5" unfinished 4-patch posie block - or what will measure finished at 6". Each round of logs will change the size of the block depending on what size you cut your logs... just measure before you cut the next round.

  • I meant, to say the posie with the logs on will be 6" correct? Or will it be 5 1/2" with logs?

  • So when you sewed the logs onto the posie, they became 7 1/2" posies with logs around them, correct?

  • Thank you so very much. They quilts are very FUN to make and also easy. I just sewed another stack of blocks in about an hour and a half. They come together so quickly and easily and have amazing results! Thanks again!

  • Color #1 & 2 Light ¾ yard; Color #1 & 2 Medium 1 1/8 yard; Color #1 & 2 Dark 1 1/8 yard. This is based on a finished posie of 6" and logs cut at 1 1/2". Good Luck - these are FUN quilts to make!

  • I love this quilt. You inspired me to make my own 4PSP log cabin style. Since you used EQ6, could you tell me how much yardage you need for the log cabin part. Thanks -busy_bee_quilter_11-
