Remove the stock post shield IF installed. (A lot of owners opted to leave this piece out not figuring out where it installs. Wonderful Chinglish instructions from Harbor Freight! Do this by removing the knob that holds the post, and unbolting the 18-ish mm bolt that holds the shield on. (None of my SAE wrenches fit it, and 18mm was sloppy).
