After assembling, seaming, and measuring the lower body section, I cut out strips of wire mesh for the coattails, super glued them to the lower body sub-assembly, and then I laid some rolled out MS over them. I did it this way because I wanted pieces of mesh that were about the right size based on the cut of the coat, and then to stretch them on the figure to accommodate the pose, as the actual fabric would. I also cut rectangular and chevron shapes from rolled out MS for the pockets and their flaps; once they cured, I drilled holes and added pin-head buttons with some super glue. I also added pin-head buttons to the cuffs of the coat.
