I've finished mum's portrait and posted a photo. I really cannot believe I've done this! It's not great and it does look rather cartoon-like, but I can tell it's her. I'm really 'chuffed' with my little self, not so much with the result but more with the fact that I've actually finished something!

It's great Angela - I am sure you are pleased with your self and with good reason!!!! I am fascinated by the different fabrics you have used, especially in Mum's hair! I couldn't begin to pick out all the tones - I just wouldn't see them! Does Mum like it?? Are you going to do your father now???? We can't have you twiddling your thumbs, can we!!! Well done!"
