How sweet and how perfect!!!!! WOW!!! You know, I don't belive I've ever seen one of these humble beauties up this close!! Had no idea there was all this amazing stamen - pistol stuff going on in there!!! When I was a kid, it was always a big deal to put the buttercup under another kid's chin to see the golden reflection ... to find out if the kid "loved butter"!! HA! Most beautiful! Us horse people hate this plant as the horses don't eat them, then the buttercup weed takes over the fields. But you've made this much hated plant...a thing of beauty! Very gorgeous!

Fantastic image! Buttercups, I have found are some of the most difficult flowers to photograph successfully, because of their small size and the fact that they consist entirely of one colour, which allows light to pass through all too well.
