Album Info:

" In the early 1980s Jinny Beyer had her first line of gabrics, probably the first line of fabrics made esp. for quilters. I bought a quarter yard of each fabric, no fat quarters in those days, and chose Tumbling Blocks as my pattern. When I had the center finished, I had the opportunity to take a class from Jinny Beyer. I brought my top and asked Jinny how I could complete it, there were not straight sides and I was in a quandry. She suggested I float the center and piece in the sides. She also suggested I use these fabrics to complete it. It is one of my favorite works. Hand pieced and hand quilted.
