Album Info:

This Carpenter's Wheel quilt is only twenty-four inches square and was made by Rose for her porch table. She used the woodsy green scraps to harmonize with the surrounding trees. Rose sewed the quilt with an astounding Freecycle find, a 1956 Singer 277U from Japan. She says it is one of her favorite machines and the quietest she has ever used. As it is in a portable case, she can sew outside whenever the weather is good. Beautiful.
