This is the FIRST rinse cycle. Notice that there is no residual dye, and no bleeding onto the yellow piece. How did I achieve this? I rinsed the dyed fabric once in lukewarm water, than another time in boiling water, letting it steep for 5-10 minutes. The boiling water kills any remaining dye. Then a simple wash in hot water, gentle cycle, with Synthrapol. All done!
