Album Info:

I suppose I love daffodils because they are strong regardless of the temperature and give us promise of warmer weather and flowers to come.

    • Enchanting. Yes, they are robust, but nonethless heartwarming and lovely. Just as well too, as the rule in my garden is "Survival of the fittest".

    • Hi, Sam, It's a delight to see another of your heart-lifting daffodil pictures! This variety, with rich yellow-orange centers and creamy white outer petals, is very fresh and lovely. The light is perfect here, as well. As we've talked about, I definitely share your love of daffodils; for me, they help me feel cool, thinking of cooler climates, while filling me with a warm glow at the same time. Thank you for all three of your splendid contributions to the Winter-to-Spring Creative Challenge collection! Thanks very much, as well, for your kind congratulations on my featured album (two weeks ago) on British red phone boxes and post boxes; its selection was a real surprise. I very much appreciate your taking the time to write; it was wonderful to hear from you! (Apologies for my delay in responding, due to multiple circumstances, including pressing work projects even on weekends and computer problems.) --Warm wishes, Rebecca

    • Lovely daffodils, Sam! They are one of my favorite spring flowers. Not only are they very pretty, but they come back faithfully every year and nothing eats them. Good luck with all your beautiful entries! Kathy
