Album Info:

This is the biggest quilt Trina has ever made on a treadle and it was around twelve years in the making which offers hope to all of us with open-ended projects. She finished just after her seventeenth wedding anniversary overcoming the further challenge of a last minute illness. Inspired by the Eleanor Burns design, Lover's Knot, Trina made it her own. The binding and piecing were accomplished with a 1920's Davis Vertical Feed and the quilt was free motion quilted on her 1951 Singer 15-88. The quilting is in a meandering pattern with small hearts which Trina made in response to her inspiration to the Lover's Knot title. Beautifully done.
