Thank you for joining me as I travel from place to place enjoying the beauty of pansies (or violas as they are called in some areas). Thank you to all who have contributed to this project. If you have a pansy you would like to include, please let me know. I welcome more stops on this journey. Please Note: ALL PHOTOGRAPHS BELONG TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER. I have merely assembled them here in this album with their permission. Pansies and violas are members of the Viola species, which also includes true violets. Technically, there is no botanical difference between pansies and violas, but as a general rule, pansy blooms and leaves are larger than those of the viola. Violas have smaller blooms and leaves, but they produce greater numbers of flowers. I have also included artwork, crafts and other misc. pansy themed photos. Please visit the owner's albums and download from there.

  • I think that the yellow blotch pansies are in many ways the best, as their little faces and bright colour show up even at night in the street lighting.
