Becky Coleman -- Hibiscus Quilt

Album Info:
This fifty inch square quilt has a number of Treadle On connections: some fabric came from a swap with an Onion, the pattern is by Pamela Mostek, and the book came from a Minnesota - Wisconsin Junkies event door prize. Treadle Annie encouraged Becky when her last piece of vintage fabric wasn't big enough for the original design, so Becky made a pieced border. She loves the quilt, mistakes and all. There was less than a yard of the vintage Hibiscus print and she waited many years for just the right quilt pattern. Becky believes that she pieced the quilt on a class 15 Singer in a straight leg treadle base but can no longer remember. It was straight line quilted with a slight curve in each block on her 1913 Singer 31-15 machine. Even the photo on the snow is stunning!
