Album Info:
This picture was taken yesterday (Sunday) especially for the Challenge. I wanted to create a very classical Still Life, so I headed to the grocery, bought some fruit (and focused more on their appearance than "yumminess", of course), came home, set up my "portable studio" (a small table, a display cardboard, a free-standing lamp, a large piece of black velvet fabric, the tripod and the camera), and started having fun arranging and rearranging the position of the fruit "basket". I added some curly parsley, also, for some green. Best of all: since yesterday I've been eating healthier!

This is gorgeous! It looks like a work of art (which in a very real sense, it is). Great to make a creation that you can eat afterwards!

This is a stunning arrangement! The side lighting is perfect! i love the added touch of the green parsley. Good luck! Thank you for your kind comments on my Antelope Canyon, Arizona images...yes, this place is for real. The colors come from the sunlight filtering down through the swirling layers of red sandstone from brilliant yellows to oranges to pinks and purples in the shade. The hues are real but are digitally intensified a little. The camera just doesn't do it justice on it's own. Darlene

Beautiful image. I love the colours, composition & the contrast with the black background. Nice work. I would have voted this one into the winners circle.
