Album Info:
Catherine first met Hope at a community sewing event in March 2008 where she first sewed on a and crank machine. Hope enjoyed it so much that her mother took her to Catherine's home the following week to purchase a 1916 Singer 127 with Memphis decals. Catherine has guided Hope and sewed with her, even bringing her to the Seattle TOGA. This is Hope's first quilt which she made on Catherine's 1916 Singer Industrial 31-20 treadle. It is a 12 inch square which she made from selecting the fabric, calculating dimensions, piecing, layering, quilting, and binding all in one day. Catherine handled the cutting. Congratulations on a fine job, Hope!
