Album Info:
Screen covering vent hole, never plug this hole! If the screen is damaged and can't be repaired, replace the entire filler cover/box inspect all hose connections inside for cracks or leaks when overfilled. Especially if the vent may have been plugged in the past. A water soluble ink or food die can be applied to the egdes and then wiped off, check for stain in the cracks and around the hose fittings/barbs. Old tanks should be replaced at the first sign of age or stress cracking. On a recient trip to Lake Tahoe almost very RV that had a water tank filler in the rear was observed to be loosing water from this area. Some were loosing water from the filler cap not being sealed/tight and others it could not be determined as to why water was leaking/pouring out. Even saw a couple of those $1millon type loosing water out the side fills.
