Because I planned to fill the skull tank with some aloe gel (which has a cool bubbly look) I secured the clear tank piece onto the smaller platform with some waterproof household adhesive; and, to protect the paint jobs and seal the joint, I applied some household adhesive on the bottom of the chamber and where the tank meets the platform, and sealed the skull with several coats of Future. I also brushed a couple of light coats of Future on both sides of the tank, which helps it look glassier. Once all of this was cured, I filled the tank with aloe gel and submerged the skull.
