The oven cabinet and one above the refrigerator were built in place with cabinet doors matching the back bar attached. They are of birch matching the wall cabinet and bar edge trim. The base cabinet "boxes", fronts both for the back bar (Abstrakt Black) and low bar (Numenar Stainless), plus the wall cabinet (Varde) are IKEA. We selected them because IKEA boxes enabled us to construct the base from treated lumber rather than have particle board in contact with the concrete floor. Also color selection, style, versatility to modify and price/availabilty were factors. Plumbing for the bar sink runs through the cabinet "boxes" around the perimeter of the basement to an ejector pump. The sink is properly vented. This way it was not necessary to cut the floor and is why the sink is not in the low bar.
