From the 12/04 The Cross Stitcher magazine, this is one of a series of snowmen by Ursula Michaels. The white parts of the body were supposed to be pale yellow Kreinik braid. Huh? I'm sorry, but I was always taught to avoid yellow snow! LOL So I stitched him with bright white DMC instead, made the pom-pom white/blue (instead of blue/white) and stitched the snowflake with pearl Kreinik braid. Stitched on Silkweaver 32-ct. winter blue Belfast linen, which is paler and more icy looking than the pic shows. Completed 6/7/2008.
