Creamery Cans

Album Info:
A "wash tub", a "cream" can and a "milk" can. The "whole" cow's milk was "separated" by centrifugal force into "cream" and "skim" milk. The "skim" milk was fed to the hogs or other livestock (no farm family would consider drinking it). On Saturday nights in the 1930s & early 1940s, we would sell the cream (and eggs) to the town "creamery" for grocery money ... Marv (BerryMan)
