Becky Coleman in Minneapolis -- TRUST Quilt

Album Info:
This quilt began with the 2006 Holiday TOBE, an interesting TOBE that resulted in quite a few blocks of different holiday themes. TRUST is an ecumenical organization in Minneapolis that coordinates a number of services: chore service, Meals-on-Wheels, parish nursing, estate/moving sales, etc. This quilt has blocks that represent the various services that TRUST coordinates. Becky made twenty-four blocks, Treadle Annie made three, and there are some preprinted blocks in addition to TOBE blocks. The quilt was sold at the annual TRUST fundraising auction in November 2011. The quilting was done on a Singer 31-15 and Becky used several machines in creating the extra blocks: a 1919 Minnesota New Model A by Domestic, a 1918 Singer 66, and a 1880's Domestic. These machines were purchased at TRUST estate sales. Many of the star patterns were designed by Judy Martin and published in Knockout Blocks. What a wonderful outpouring of creativity!
