This is a picture taken from the side of the boat bridge. You are only a few inches from the water. The bridge itself is ingenious. You actually go down into the water. It is anchored on the bottom with four chains, and flagstone under the lips on the shore sides. It works well because of the constant water pressure. I would have liked to have seen it made of plexiglass, but I don't know if it would have worked out as well
