  • Your roses are the most beautiful I have seen. Would you mind sharing the directions on how to make the former with me also? Thanks. schotwheels@hotmail.com

  • Hi, I am fascinated by the way you do these roses, I have been searching for so long to find out how to do realistic roses like these. I have a question, what is that contraption you are using to shape the rose edges???? I want to do these but I have no idea how to do that shape. I would appreciate your help so much, I have a wedding cake to do in about a month and would love to do these roses on it!!! Thanks so much!!!

  • The plastic cutter set is from www.sugarcraft.org. Go to their site, scroll down the left to gumpaste/fondant cutter. Choose roses. The Rose Petal cutter set is described as "a set of five cutters that can be used for individual rose petals, fully blown roses, and mini orchid throats. When widened, they are ideal for poppy and anemone petals and when lengthened, they are perfect for small magnolia and dogwood petals. Sizes: 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2" The item number is #C225 $7.99. The metal set came from www.creativecutters.com out of Canada.....but don't get too hung up on cutters....and graduated set will work fine.

  • Jeff, I have enjoyed seeing this demo for sometime now and am almost ready to attempt them myself. I am looking for the cutters that you used, can you tell me the name, or make a recommendation for what I should buy? Thank You, Ann
