with all my modifications :-) I have a home built tray on the top side for holding all sorts of my gadgets. It doesn't work really well when I have large quilts on there - bumps into the sides. It does work great though for average sized quilts (80" of quilt on there now). This is my first charity quilt that I'm working on - just doing an overall meander on it. I've also added vet wrap to the handles, makes them nice & squishy to hold on to :-) very comfortable. I really need to put up shelves underneath though for holding my batting off the ground. If I leave it laying on the carpet my two dogs think it's there for them to play in.
