Album Info:

This is a 1/12 scale model of a small, Early New Mexican bench. The original is in the Casa San Ysidro homestead (Alburquerque Museum). It's the first part in a project to make miniature copies of all the Early New Mexican furniture at the museum. This particular piece is made in Yew. The original is Ponderosa Pine.

  • I think it is great that yew work in such special woods. I thend to lay back on the old basswood because of the difficulty of obtaining better woods in manageable sizes. This work you have done is gorgeous! Dave, GSOLFOT
