Pinanga coronata
skellsbells > albums > Container grown palms
Album Info:
Synonymous with P. kuhlii. This specimen is about 2 years old and grows in a 4 inch pot. The foliage is faintly mottled. This species will form small clumps. The foliage is not tolerant of temperatures much below freezing, but it is said to regrow from the roots if the individual stems are killed back. Needs lots of water, but a well drained medium. This is a good candidate for use as a tub specimen on the porch, especially under cover.
