Album Info:

This is a large tropical Sabal, related to Florida's S. palmetto (palmetto, cabbage palm, sabal palm). The leaf bases remain green, unlike most other Sabals, which lends to the tropical appearance. Leaf undersides are silvery. This species is much less cold hardy than the Florida natives, but can still handle about 28-29 degrees before damage starts. The one shown is in a 1 gallon container.
