Shown is the orange crownshaft form. This plant is about 1 year old, and is in a 1 gallon container. The orange is just beginning to show up on the crownshaft. When in a sheltered location, it can tolerate temps near freezing or slightly below for short periods. Leaf spotting at these temperatures is still likely though. It is unknown if this is the solitary or clumping version of the palm. Give it shade.
