Using your finger or a tool, smooth out the bottom edge. Using a cotton ball laced with cornstarch or a cornstarch ball, place inside the toe area to help holds its shape while drying. While the clay is still soft, you may add air holes or other designs at this time. Allow to dry before adding heel.
