Cut the Block

Album Info:
After you have adjusted your square-up ruler in a way that gives you a 'crazy' looking block, you cut out a block the size you want...in this case, 8.5" square. The corners that are trimmed off can either be tossed out (remember, this all started with scrap to begin with)....or, you can put them back into your scrap bin and use them in another Speed Crazy block. I have done this by 'matching' up two wedges and stitching them together to form a rectangle. You can then build on that rectangle by sewing it to another strip until you build a piece large enough to cut another block.
