This machine spent some of its lfe in a dry cleaning establishment, probably used for mending clothing. It goes very fast, and sews a beautiful seam. I love it for sewing long strips of fabric together quickly. I had hoped to use it for free-motion quilting, but haven't found a free-motion foot that will work on it
