Album Info:
This machine was made in Stettin, Germany by Bernhard Stoewer AG in 1914. The simple oak cabinet has five drawers. Four of the drawers have plain copper pulls. The small drop leaf to the right is not functional in that it lacks a brace to hold it up. The treadle wheel is so large and set so low that a conventional treadle belt is too short to be used for this machine. Bernhard is named for Bernhard Stoewer.
