We tow our camper with a Class III frame mounted hitch so our Explorer's bumper, which has a 3500 lb tow rating, was being unused. Rather than mount bikes on the camper or on our Explorer's roof, I instead bolted a 3-bike Swagman swing down bike rack to the vehicle's bumper where a 2" ball would normally be mounted. Pictured is just one bike but the rack will carry also safely carry two additional kids bikes and still easily clear the camper.
