  • I have a Vindex Special that looks similar to this, but not exactly the same. Do you by any chance have a manual or know where one can be obtained? According to a guy selling some (not this one) manuals on Ebay, they are available in the public domain. Thanks in advance - Teresa

  • ddawja526: You won't find a date of manufacture or publication on the manual. I'm compiling dates for National machines, but it's a slow process due to the fact that I can only work from warranties and they are hard to come by. Based on the decals, I believe this machine to be from the 1920s.

  • hello all I am new with the treddle machines my syster has told me that theses machines will sew through thicker materials such as quilts . we have a vindex special like this one being kind of new with these machines does anyone have any illustrations on threading and using this machine such as well as threading the bobbin and such things or tips that may help me any diagrams or illustrations will help thank you Angie Angela Fisher RRT.1 box 183 Thomas OK. 73669
