The design is placed in the bowl. Note the distortion in this container. Fill the container with water, preferably bottled water since tap water often changes color, affects the color of the violet and makes more bubbles than distilled or bottled water. Gently pour the water down one side of the container so as not to disturb the design. No material should touch the sides or come out above the water. Take away any floating debris.
